3 FreeFires have take part in the Vietnam race including Sam Chan's current TP52 FreeFire which sailed in the 2017, 2015, 2013 and 2011 race. His previous boat FreeFire52 another TP52 raced in the 2008 and 2006 edition and his FfreeFire72 a ULBD Sled raced in the first 2 races in 2004 and 1996.
