The second start of the Hong Kong to Vietnam Rally commenced on 29 October in an easterly breeze of approximately 10 to 12kts. 香港至越南拉力賽今日正式展開，起點設於香港遊艇會吉列島會所對開。率先出發的兩艘船隻分別是參加PHS組別的陳銘燊的Hanse 470型「無問題號」，以及參加IRC Racer 2組別的Henning Mueller的Sunfast 3600型「Zesst號」，他們在上午11時20分於微風吹拂下順利啟航。   剛於今年五月首屆東亞離岸賽中奪得IRC全場總冠軍的「Zesst號」，船主Henning Mueller在賽前分享比賽策略：「這將是一場截然不同的比賽- 全程順風航行，關鍵船隻不要出現故障。我們將使用球形帆，盡量避免船隻迎風失控轉向或不受控地順風轉向。這場比賽壓力更大，更講求舵手的操控能力以及何時換上不同尺碼帆的時機，一切都取決於我們有多進取。」   至於「無問題號」則首次參加離岸賽，船員們充滿期待並準備充分：「我們花了六個月時間準備船隻，務求符合一級離岸賽的準則，全船的人都做好離岸航行準備。目標是安全在強風中度過第一晚，並人船安全順利抵達芽莊。」   IRC 競賽組別的其餘五艘船隻將於明日10月29日上午11時20分起航，展開長達673海里前往
